McElroy Metal has earned a reputation as the premier metal roofing manufacturer in the country. Since our debut in 1963, we’ve been on a mission to continually add new products and systems to our lineup.
Our goal is to provide the most advanced metal roofing and siding products and systems on the market for homeowners, building owners, contractors, and architects. Here’s a closer look at several of our newer products and systems.
238T Metal Over Metal Recover System
The 238T Metal-Over-Metal Recover System is the industry’s best solution for old, worn-out metal roofs. It offers a frameless retrofit over existing exposed fastened panels with ribs up to 1.5" tall. Not only is this recover system economical, but there’s also no need to remove the existing roof which eliminates internal disruption in the office or factory.
Thanks to its panel replaceability, the 238T Metal - Over- Metal Recover System makes it a breeze to repair storm-damaged panels or make roof modifications at a later time.
Green Span Profiles IMPs
Green Span Profiles is our proud joint venture partner and manufactures Insulated Metal Panels (IMPs) for walls and roofs at its state-of-the-art facility in Waller, TX.
The unique Ridgeline roof panel provides the quickest standing seam IMP installation in the industry. Ridgeline panels feature a 238T symmetrical standing seam, so unlike vertical leg standing seam panels, there is no need to roll the heavy panels into place.
At McElroy Metal, you’ll find no shortage of substructural members such as Cees, Zees, Eave Struts, Sub-Girts, Angels, Hats, and Channels. They are often used in pre-engineered metal buildings, retrofit roofing, mansard framing, and ground-mount solar arrays.
Our XL substructural line allows us to manufacture Cees and Zees down to 10 gauge with webs up to 24". Our XL components are ideal for mezzanines or anywhere else where you need a very durable, heavy-duty substructural member.
XL components are also available with factory flange notching, which eliminates costly secondary fabrication and/or field torching and cutting. We can also punch 2" and 3" holes to accommodate fire suppression devices and other pass-through utilities.
We are pleased to offer over 30 wall panels, roof panels, and specialty panels. So if you’re in search of a metal wall or roof panel, there’s a good chance we have a product for your needs.
Our 25 service centers across the country inventory common panels as well as substructural components, and a full lineup of accessories.
Our Service Centers are a great resource for builders on job sites that may need some components or accessories in a pinch.
ASTM E1592 Test Chamber
We use our ASTM E1592 Test Chamber, which is located at our corporate office, to test our panels and systems. The ASTM E1592 Test Chamber assesses the wind uplift performance of standing seam metal roofs.
The test chamber is essential for our product development efforts as it allows us to ensure that every system we offer performs at its optimal level, even in the most adverse weather conditions.
