We know we have a lot of great folks that work at McElroy Metal, as evidenced by the fact that they regularly go above and beyond to take care of our customers.
But this holiday season, our folks also stepped up to help those less fortunate. Our Peachtree City, GA facility organized a United Way toy drive, as shown in the picture above.
Further up the east coast, John Moss, our Senior Production Assistant, led a toy drive for the fourth year in our Winchester, VA, facility. While they officially adopt the kids in a family, they also routinely add a grocery store gift card to help cover the costs of Christmas dinner. John shares, "My employees always step up in a big way, whether it is buying gifts or donating to a good cause."
Going forward, the Winchester group has decided to rename this holiday effort to the Gavin Knupp Memorial Christmas Operation in honor of a life lost too soon. Read below to learn more.
