The barn has 22 stalls, a large tack room, office, laundry, three restrooms, a finished apartment for a full-time groundskeeper, hay storage, feed rooms and a stand-alone utility room. Technical Tips

  • Panels stored on the job site should be covered and elevated on one end to allow drainage.
  • Pre-drilling holes into thru-fastened wall sheeting helps ensure nice, straight fastener lines on the building, and reduces sharp metal shavings that could cut the washer seal.
  • Curbs are a critical component of a weathertight roof system. Considering that today's metal roofing systems are designed to offer a service life of many decades, the negative effects of inferior curbs can result in leaks for building owners and liability issues for manufacturers and contractors. Learn more about roofing curbs MCA best practices.
