A Closer Look at the 138T Shingle Recover System
For commercial buildings with existing shingle roofs, McElroy’s 138T Shingle Recover System offers a long-term, economical solution.
This system is installed directly over existing shingles and utilizes patented clips to create above sheathing ventilation (ASV). ASV air-spaces enable airflow under the metal roof which allows air to circulate and vent into the atmosphere resulting in lower utility expense.

Individual panel replaceability is an advantage of both 138T and 238T systems. In the event of roof panel damage or roof changes due to rooftop mechanical equipment modifications, individual panels can be replaced.
